Wills
Although the Public Trustee does not charge a fee for will preparation, it does charge a % fee to administer the estate when the time comes. So that the charge on the estate can be extremely high and this means that the beneficiaries miss out on a portion of their entitlement. For example, if the estate is worth $1million, then the Public Trustee administration fee can be as much as $25,000.
Our Will preparation service has a flat fee of $180 including GST, or $260 for mutual Wills. We also provide a Will safe custody service at no extra cost.
For Wills that involve the construction of a trust, we provide a detailed quote for the preparation of the trust which includes detailed legal advice on GST and other aspects of using a trust to bequeath property.
Power of Attorney
If you need to draw up a Power of Attorney document, we will be a happy to advise you of all aspects and benefits of having an Enduring Power of Attorney document prepared. This can be a great benefit in the event of sickness, incapacity or even travel, so that your business and personal affairs can continue to run smoothly regardless.
Our Power of Attorney preparation and execution service has a flat fee of $180 including GST.
Deceased Estates & Probate
We provide a full service for obtaining the grant of Probate so that the property can be distributed in accordance with the will.
